"Your attitude will keep you alive, and take you places that money can't buy."
At the time, I suspected she was just babbling, but this was more like divine lucidity. Our encounter brief, but it was a connection of the soul.
According to who you talk to, the spirit and the soul are one and the same. Both are intangible aspects of our being, and honestly I am not trying to make an attempt at knowing the precise difference between the two--not now or ever. This talk is about "connaître notre famille d'âmes"--knowing our soul family.
The word "soul" means life. And the people that pour "life" into our lives are necessary and vitally important. Are they soul mates? I don't know. The term soul mate is no longer useful for me; there are a lot of expectations placed on this special someone, who is the only someone in the world, to make all our dreams come true. Frankly, that is too much to ask of anybody. However, I do believe that we are growth-seeking beings, and all encounters, both physical and non-physical, provide opportunities for growth.
Souls are organized and linked together to fulfill an ultimate goal. The majority of our relationships with associates, casual friends, close friends, family members and even those we consider adversaries will produce some kind of growth in our lives. All of their "energy signature" promotes you becoming a better you--even if you can't see a better you. There are thousands of people who you will encounter in your lifetime--these encounters help you.
Caroline Myss said: Every relationship we develop from the casual to the intimate helps us to become more conscious. No union is without spiritual value. We always meet people at the right time--especially our soul family. Like (Light) attracts Like (Light) and when the student is ready, the teacher shows up. This is Tuesday Talk.
