"You still got it" sounds so cliché--doesn't it? The expression has been overused so much it is irritating. Well it isn't a cliché when you're going through--these four words are sometimes music for the soul; the encouragement you need to make it through. More than looking good on the outside--we need encouragement. More than having it all together--we need compassionate listening ears. Just as much as we need good food for the body, we need good company with good encouragement for the soul. My friend told me recently: "My inside doesn't match my outside--I am so unhappy but I'm too proud to let it show." My response: "You still got it!" Friend: "Got what?" You still got everything God placed in you to match the outside of you. You still got tangible and intangible blessings that you haven't counted--let's name them one by one. You still got the hope of knowing this too shall pass because God's got you. Sometimes our family and friends just need support, compassion, listening ears and a little bit of "You Still Got It." This is Tuesday talk and I'm singing to you--you still got it!

This is so on time...I just turned 46 on the 23rd of August and to hear, "you still got it", is a soul-lifter for sure. Thanks for these encouraging words. Red
